To date we have 115 entries for the 2011 Laser SB3 World Championships which is great news and we are looking forward to welcoming all skippers and crews to the Royal Torbay Yacht Club. Payment of the entry fee is due by 1st March, so please ensure payment is made before this date. The event is likely to start racking up a waiting list for entry places, so to make sure your entry is confirmed and not to incur a late entry fee, please ensure payment is made on time!

There are still spaces available for harbour side (rig up!) storage between the Torbay Open and the World Championships. Remaining spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

SB3 Worlds 2011 News Letter and event information 1
Join us for an SB3 Open meeting to practice on the waters of Tor Bay, we are running a 3 day event, Friday 29th April to Sunday 1st May and the first 20 boats entered will be able to leave their boats on the harbour side in preparation for the Worlds 2 weeks later. any further boats can be stored free of charge mast down. Message from the Race Officer:
 As your Principal Race Officer for the SB3 World Championship in Torbay in May 2011, I would like to welcome all competitors to this event.
I have raced a variety of boats, as a member and past flag officer of the Royal Torbay Yacht Club in Torbay over the years, including Cadets, Fireballs, Dragons, Flying Fifteens, and more recently Melges 24.
I became an International Race Officer in 1996 and have since had the pleasure of being the PRO for International 14s, Dragons, and Melges 24 World Championships.
I look forward to meeting you all in Torbay
